I've downloaded the latest vault client version 2.0.0 (2120) and I'm trying to connect to vaultdemo.sourcegear.com. If I click the Ok button on the Connect To Server dialog, I instantly loose my satellite connection (it's like it reboots my satellite router). If I check the Use SSL checkbox on the dialog and then click Ok, it seems to work fine (although I get a you have more active users than valid licenses message).
I'm using Direcway's model DW6000 router as my internet access.
Any ideas?
Connecting to vaultdemo server via Direcway satellite

We've had a few similar reports with satellite connections (and maybe one ISDN router). I don't think we ever found out what the actual cause was, but since Vault only ever uses the default Windows HTTP libraries (the same ones used by IE), I don't think it's something we can fix in our code. However, there may be a setting somewhere that tells the HTTP libraries to stop using the TCP/IP, HTTP, or SOAP features that are causing the problems.
I don't know much about the DW6000 router. I've read that many Direcway customers are setup to use web proxies, and many proxies have problems passing Vault traffic, although rarely on login. If the router implements some of the proxy code itself, it may be the source of the problems. See the following articles for proxy work-arounds:
