Source Offsite Client/Server Hanging

I've recently started using SourceOffsite - like the concept, but have had trouble with the system - version 4.0.2, XP Pro clients (SP2), Windows 2003 Small Businesss Server server.

I am gettinng system hanging (to the extent of having to restart the SourceOffsite service on the server) in several situations:

1. When a project is open in Visual Studio 6, SP5 and I simultaneously go to the SourceOffsite client to do a file compare or some other action. The client hangs, sometimes permanently, sometimes until I close Visual Studio 6.

2. When two of us use it from offsite at the same time - we have four licenses, but have had trouble with only 2 of us on it at this time.

3. During more lengthy operations - e.g. a project differential comparison. There are a lot of files in a fairly large legacy application (around 1000).

I had heard good things about the product, but have not been having much success with it's stability.

Sounds like the VSS automation component concurrency crash.
