Consolidating 2 repositories into 1

Post by mallamb » Wed Apr 21, 2021 5:29 am

Hi, we are running SourceGear Vault Standard 10.0.2 and we have 2 repositories. We want to simplify by moving the content (and history) from our 2nd repository into our 1st repository (essentially consolidating all into 1 repository). Is this at all possible? I have tried searching the forum and help but have not found anything so far.
Any help greatly appreciated,

Many thanks

There are a few caveats and it can be troublesome depending on the transactions in the repository to move, but you may be able to run a "Folder Export" of the 2nd repository, and then use "Folder Import" to place that into repository 1.

There are some actions that can sometimes lead to folder export or import failure, for example if you've ever ran an obliterate. See the help documentation of the Folder Export/Import tool (installed with your Vault Client) for further details on exporting and importing data from a repository
