Need help troubleshooting server install

Hi,

We've installed the latest standard edition server but have been unable to connect to it. Here are some details:

1. We're using Sourcesafe 6.0d
2. We entered our SS database information into the admin program.
3. unsecured access (port 8080) is being used
4. We started the service in control panel
5. hitting the localhost URL doesn't work from the server.

Any ideas on what else we can try here?

Or is it perhaps related to importing a VSS database into SourceGear Vault?
