MS SQL server 2014

We are running vault version 8.0 on a MS SQL 2012 express, but are hitting the roof of 10gb db storage. So we wants to upgrade the express version to a standard version. What are You recommendations on how to proceed?

1. Can I upgrade directly from 2012 express to 2014 std? No additional steps regarding IIS ?
2. which licensing mode is recommended. I thought I would go device cals.

We don't have any specific recommendations on upgrading the SQL Server. Just make sure you have a full backup of all of your databases.

1) There are no changes that need to happen with Vault for your SQL upgrade.
2) We aren't able to give recommendations about how to license SQL Server. You will want to contact Microsoft or a seller of SQL licenses.
