Trialling this product as a replacement for VSS and I have discovered one or two features that would be nice:
1) Should be able to Diff from any version of a file to any version, not just from "working" version - otherwise you have to get an old version just so you can diff it
2) All grids in all dialogs everywhere should be sortable by clicking title bar: e.g. History Explorer and Show Labels
3) History Explorer should include times (optional) on the date filters and Labels as filter criteria: e.g. show me all changes since Label: "Release 12" in all files for this folder/project
4) After setting working folder should automatically resolve Status by comparing files in the folder with known versions in the database
5) Some reporting would be great too
That said - I love the "Show Blame" feature and the fact that I can say without hyperbole that Vault is 100,000 times faster than VSS.

1. In history explorer, click on the first version you want to compare, Ctrl-click on the second version, right-click, and select Diff.
2. While sort is part of the query, it would be nice to be able to change the sort by simply clicking on the headers instead of having to go to the Query menu and selecting Filter/Sort (in the History explorer, haven't looked for this in Show Labels).
4. is reportedly in 3.0, due out this month.

History and Show Labels are not sortable when you click on the headings, because they are not fully loaded. History is downloaded in chunks of 200 items, because transferring the entire history list every time is overkill. Since the Vault client doesn't have the full list, it can't offer to sort the items. It was a tradeoff, but we did make it fairly painless to resort your query. using the steps GregM provided. Also, the resorting mechanism gives you more control over how the items are sorted than clicking on headings would.
That said, Show Labels has no sorting options at all, which isn't much help. I've added your name to the list of people requesting sort on Show Labels.
If you only want to see a comparison of the latest version of a folder versus a labeled version of the folder, you can right click on the folder in the GUI client, choose Show Differences and select the "A label applied to this folder/file" radio button and type in or browse for your label. You have a good point in that it would be nice to include the same radio button/browse for a label name on the Dates tab of the History Query Filter/Sort dialog. I've also added your name to the list of people who would like this feature as well.
I'm glad that you like Blame. I am very pleased with the way it's worked out.
