Erorr on new install

Post by toddvoge » Tue Aug 18, 2015 10:05 am

Hi there! Had been using Vault 6.x for the longest time. The computer I had been running that on died and I've installed a new Windows 8.1 computer. I moved all of my Databases over to the new system. New system is SQL 2014 Express.

The install and upgrade went without any errors.

But going to the Admin Site, I get the following:

Could not load file or assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit, Version=4.5.7.1213, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=28f01b0e84b6d53e' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

I've downloaded and installed the latest Ajax Control Toolkit from DevExpress (https://www.devexpress.com/Products/AJA ... xpressPage)

Any thoughts? I have both VS 2008 and VS 2014 Community installed.

Just as an FYI, SQL 2014 isn't supported with Vault 6: http://www.sourcegear.com/vault/documen ... chart.html.

Which version of IE are you using?

Are you able to access the Vault admin web page with any other browser?

Hey Beth. Actually I wasn't trying to use Vault 6 on 2014. I was moving it all from an old 2008 server to the new.

I did get it fixed. I had to copy the AjaxControllToolbox.dll file (the correct version) to the VaultService\Bin directory and do an IISreset. That fixed the issue.

Thanks!

Todd
