I had to undertake a reinstall of Server 2008 R2, which required reinstall of programs including Vault. I retained the original SQL databases but was unable to log in as admin into Vault. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, each time having no password for admin (just so I wouldn't enter in the wrong password!!) but to no avail. I have verified that the vault website is in trusted domains (IE) and have also tried with Chrome. Every time I get 'The username or password supplied is invalid.' error. The Vault error log shows the following:

Cannot log in as admin after new install
Re: Cannot log in as admin after new install
Are you using any special characters?
Have you tried reinstalling and using a simple password such as 1234 just to get it going? Then you can go in and change the admin password through the Vault admin interface.
If it still won't work with a simple password, then could you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread?
