Running Vault Pro 7.0; and often times when connecting to the vault server, the client will connect and I can choose the repository I want, but it doesn't display. The client displays the Ready message in the lower left corner, but my cursor continues to spin and the repository never comes up. (I've let it spin for half-hour or more.) If I disconnect and reconnect a few times, the repository will eventually come through.
The logs show my logon and logoff, but no error messages. I’m not finding anything in the event viewers of the vault or SQL servers either.
Any ideas?

Go to your Vault Tools - Options - Network Settings and uncheck the option "Request database delta on repository cache miss." Does that help?

Re: Vault client connects, but doesn't display repository
I forwarded the suggestion on to a few users, and one has replied back that it has helped. "Much better than before."

Re: Vault client connects, but doesn't display repository
I have the same issue with Vault 7.1, single-user.
I tried unchecking "Request database delta on repository cache miss," but the problem still happens, i see it about half the time i exit / restart the client.

larryvarn@gmail.com : Let's some logging.
1) First let's get rid of the old log. Close Vault. Then go to %temp% and find the file VaultGUIclient.txt. Delete that file.
2) Next open Vault, but don't log in.
3) Press CTRL - Alt - Shift - F12. This will start debug level logging.
4) Log into Vault and see if the issue happens. If it does, then find the VaultGUIclient.txt again and send that in an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread.
5) If the issue doesn't happen, then do this same process the next time you are going to open Vault. It will be important to delete the previous log in this case, since it will get very large fast and make it difficult to pick out the issue from other logins.
