Trouble Installing Vault 7.1

I successfully upgraded a Vault 6.0 server to Vault 7.1. However I am having trouble installing the client.

On Windows 2008 server R2 I get the following dialog error.

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.
A program required for this install to complete could not
be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I reviewed various posts here and on the web and ran using msiexec from a cmd dialog using administrator privileges but it still failed the same way. I created a log file and this seems to show that it is failing at the point where Visual Studio integration components are uninstalled.

Any idea what the problem might be?

We'd like to see the msi log and also the vaultproclient_install.log file from your user's temp directory.
