disabling exclusive checkout

Is there any way to globally disable exclusive checkouts? I find it tedious to have every user do this in their client.

There currently isn't a way to do that through Vault. It's a setting saved in each user's registry.

You could write a script to modify registry settings for users and then use your group policy server to push the script out and run it on each machine. Make sure you include a registry backup in that script so that you can return the registry to its previous state. The settings are found under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SourceGear\VaultPro\Client\Settings.

I wish this could be added in a future release or update. If we could be able to specify this on a repository level in the admin tool, it would give us a lot of leeway.
