I have an old Vault 3.5.2 database running on a Win2003 / Sql Server 2000 machine. I want to move this to a Windows 2008 R2 server on Amazon running the free version of Sql Server 2008. I have made a Sql Server Enterprise Manager backup of my existing sgvault database on my old server, copied that backup to my new Amazon server and then restored the database under Sql Server 2008 Management Studio. That seems to work fine. I then try to install the current SourceGear Vault server onto the Win2008 machine. The installation recognizes that there is an existing database and starts to upgrade the existing source control database but then fails while checking the installed database version with the message: "Access to table dbo.tblschemaversions is blocked because the signature is not valid."
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Re: Moving old Vault database to cloud server
Sorry, Vault 3.5.2 was released in 2006 and was never tested with later operating systems or SQL Server versions. It's not supported on Windows 2008 R2 server or on SQL Server 2008.
We'd recommend updating to the latest Vault version or at least Vault 5.1.2, which is supported on those systems.
