Slow Adding Files

I've been using vault for a few weeks (demo version, I don't think my time is up yet). When I click "Add files" on a folder in my project it takes about 30 seconds or so for the dialog box to appear. My folders are not huge, anywhere from 1-20 files in a folder. It just started doing this. My CPU isn't bogged down, nor is the CPU on the SQL server. Any ideas?

This has been reported by a few other folks, but it is usually on folders with a lot of files and a large working folder and also a machine with slow disks. There is some preprocessing the Add dialog does before comes up that causes this. It has been addressed in the upcoming 3.0 release, but until then, there isn't much of a workaround...
