Losing connection

SourceOffSite 3.5.3 losing connection if idle for a few minutes. Why? How to change?

It's possible that a firewall or similar device is closing the connection after a certain period of time if there is no traffic.

You could change your firewall settings or you could use the keep-alive signal in the Windows Client. This setting is in Tools->Options->General.

However, this feature does not work properly if you're using the IDE (integrated client in VS.NET) for SOS 3.5.3.

The bug was fixed in SOS 4.0.
