Vault Labeling from TeamCity

Post by RDurham1007 » Thu Oct 04, 2012 4:23 pm

My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this. Is anyone currently using TeamCity to label their projects in Vault? If so, how do you set it up?

The TC documentation says that labeling in vault is not supported, but the plugin says it is and I can check the box to apply the label I'm just unsure of what I'm applying the label to. Is it going to apply a label to the root of the repository, or just what I have specified in the checkout rules?

TeamCity wrote the integration to Vault, so I might not be able to help much. Other users might be able to.

Did you check out in their PDF manual the piece on VCS labeling? (http://devnet.jetbrains.net/servlet/Jiv ... tation.pdf)

They also have some discussed here: http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display ... S+Labeling.

Changes tab seems to have it: http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display ... hanges+tab.

Sorry if I just posted stuff you already know.

It sure looks like their documentation is suggesting that it should happen on the VCS root.
