Source Offsite hangs

Hi I'm using source Offsite 4.02 and this is happenning to me a lot when I launch the client it shows me the following messages:
Connecting to Server public ip:8081
Server sending 128 bit challange.
Using 128 bit encryption to comunicate with the server.
logging in...

Then nothing happens I connected to the server via TS and this is what is on the Log file:
10/6/2004 6:12:58 AM - Connection accepted from my ip address:1340 on local address server local ip:8081, session id is 31.
10/6/2004 6:13:03 AM - 31: Unable to get hostname from address: my ip address

Now i'm connecting to the server using a ADSL line and I don't have a static ip.

Can someone please help me right now I can't work since VS.NET 2003 hangs and I can't open any project.

The log snippet isn't very helpful.

Are you unable to connect at all? Did SOS ever work for you? Are other users having the same problem?

Is a VSS client installed on the SOS Server machine?

If you restart the SOS server can you then connect?

Are you able to telnet to the port the SOS server is listening on? From a command prompt, try this command:

telnet <sosservername> <port>
