Is there an "Add Directory Recursively" into sourc

I have a ton of subfolders in my project, and I'm getting annoyed by contstantly creating a folder, adding the files, creating a subfolder, adding the files, ect, ect, ect...

Isn't there a simple option of adding a directory and all it's subdirectories to vault? VSS allowed it.

In an ideal world I'd love to just drag'n'drop my folder from explorer into the vault client & be done with it.

The current add dialog does allow recursive folder adds - select a folder and then press the Add button.

Our next release will allow far greater control over which files to add underneath folders, and will also support drag and drop into Vault.

Dan, does this mean we'll be able to filter the files to add on the extensions (and other patterns) universally?

That would be cool. I hate having to always delete the "user files" out of my additions. (Please don't tell me that it already does that and I just haven't found the option yet!)

Yes - there will be a file exclusion list and folder exclusion list defined in the admin tool, which will allow you to filter out the files you don't want to include by default.

Nope - nothing exists for that now, so don't worry about missing anything
