Unable to connect to demo server to check out Vault.

Post by brettski » Fri Oct 01, 2004 10:27 am

I am trying to demo the Vault software and receive an error while trying to connect. I download and installed VaultClient_2_0_6.msi onto my Windows 2000 (sp4) workstation and setup a usernam and password with your test server. When I try to connect to the server I receive the following error:
Unable to handle request without a valid action parameter. Please supply a valid soap action.

I have tried this on two different clients with two different OS's (2000 & XP). I am not running any type of Proxy. There is a firewall in place but it seems your just using TCP port 80.

I am really interested in this product but its become a little frustrating to get through this first step.

Thank in advance for any assistence,

Brett

Check your firewall configuration.

It may be blocking unknown headers.

Soap headers could be classified as unknown to your firewall. If that's the case, try changing that setting.

Yes, having my firewall not check headers to your ip address and this works fine. Thanks for the information.
