Working Directory

Is there a way to get automaticaly asked for a working directory every time for each checkout action that do not have one?

We would like to use a different checkout directory for each of our project.

Vault will already ask for a working directory if you try to check out an area that does not have one. One thing to remember is that the working directory inherits down the tree, so if you have a working directory at $, then everything below $ will use the same directory. If you want $/Project1 and $/Project2 to have different working directories, then you can still set them, but you won't be prompted unless you don't have one at $.
