Limiting number of versions in history

How can we limit the number of versions available in Vault? We have some active projects that may have 50 versions from 2011, we really want to keep only the most recent 10 and delete the rest automatically. Then going forward, on new check-ins we want the oldest version to be deleted automatically. Thanks.

We are using Vault Standard 5.1.1 (19215)

It currently isn't possible to remove the history under files.

A work-around might be to create a new folder for the project, add the project to the new folder, and then delete the old folder.
