ERROR: Could not detect the file type in the supplied stream

Post by ochizhov » Thu Sep 29, 2011 7:41 pm

Hi,

We are using the latest version of Vault Standard (5.1.2).
For one of the folders it always shows the same error:
The working folder state information for [Path to the folder on local drive] is incompatible with this version of Vault. Please choose a different working folder path. The specific compatibility exception was: Could not detect the file type in the supplied stream

This folder is part of the project, it contains only one html file. All other folders are fine. I have tried to delete the folder from Vault and add it again and still have the same error.

If I open solution in Visual Studio it will show this error again and again and it does not allow to work on the project as this error is in a modal popup.

Could you help to fix it?

Regards,
Oleg

I'd suggest deleting the client-side cache, as it may be out of sync with the database. Close any open clients first.

Thanks.
I have deleted local cache and it's fixed the issue.
