Error trying to add files or folders to repository

Post by Dennis » Fri Jul 30, 2004 1:17 pm

I have a new install of Vault and I am able to log in from local or remote clients. I was able to create a repository. But when I try to add files or folders it just loops in a message:

[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Beginning transaction
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Add $/boot.ini
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Ending the transaction
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Server unavailable for transaction end
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Transaction failed
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Found and corrected problems with the a local baseline file. Retrying the transaction.
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Preparing data to begin transaction
[7/30/2004 11:55:26 AM] Beginning transaction

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Does your vault server log say anything? Look in c:\windows\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log. Could you post the section from the log file that corresponds to the failed upload to this forum?

It looks like I recieve two errors.

When a actions happens I first get:
Failed to load Msxml2.dll

Then within the same second it start repeating:
FailDBInsert

I did check and did not find the DLL on the system.

Thank you. I applied the patch and it worked. I think one of the comments was correct. Thank you microsoft.

Again thanks for such a quick reply!
