Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem. I created a new solution file (in the same directory as an existing one) and added existing projects to it. When I closed and reopened the solution, the Change Source Control dialog came up insisting that the status of the solution file was invalid. We've used multiple solution files when we were working with Source Safe. Is this a difference, or have I made some other mistake? It is really frustrating trying to get this to work.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Change Source Control: Invalid status on Solution

When I tested this, I got the following error from Visual Studio:
"The project you are attempting to add to source control may cause other source control users to have difficulty opening this solution or getting newer versions of it. To avoid this problem, add the project from a location below the binding root of the other source controlled projects in the solutions".
I'm not sure why VSS would be OK with this, if VS itself complains about it. It may be that hand editing the MSSCCPRJ.scc file can get the solutions to work together.
