Get Latest Version Missing an Option

What we want to do is a "Get Latest Version" operation on a project which will pull down any files in SOS but not in local directory and merge any files that are in local directory.

This is quite a common operation for us and there seems to be no option to do it automatically.

What version of SOS are you using? I think SOS 4.0.x will do what you need.

SOS uses version numbers to track files. If the version of the file in your working directory is the same as the version of the file in the database, SOS will not retrieve it again.

SOS 4.0.2 has merge on get capabilities. Try a "Get" with the option "Attempt automatic merge," and see if that works for you.
