Hello,
Two more feature requests have been raised by my user community...
First, in VSS it was possible to select two files and then press <ctrl>+<F>, or right-click and select 'Show Differences...' and the diff window would come up containing the two selected files. In the Vault GUI client neither works, we'd like to request or put a vote in for this feature to be added.
Secondly, in VSS the mouse pointer is tracked and the component (tree structure, file list, text area) that the pointer currently resides in has the focus automatically therefore using the mousewheel to scroll works in that component as soon as the pointer enters it; in the Vault GUI client it is necessary to click on something within the component in order for that component to gain focus and for the mousewheel to work. We'd very much like to request this feature be added or to add our vote to any existing request for this feature.
Thank you very much!

Two Feature Requests: Diff and Mouse tracking

Re: Two Feature Requests: Diff and Mouse tracking
Thanks for the suggestion!
I've logged feature request 15833 for the mouse wheel functionality, and request 15834 for the ability to quickly diff two files in the file list. These will be evaluated for an upcoming release of Vault.
Note that you can diff two items in the file list by right-clicking on one file, selecting Diff, then in the Diff dialog, choose to compare to "Any Repository File." It does take a few more steps than your suggestion, however.
