Currently, we have 4.1.2 and would like to upgrade to 5.x latest available.
1. Does this also require server upgrade?
2.Do we need to pay the upgrade fee? If yes, is it per user or also any additional cost for server upgrade?

This does require a server upgrade. SOS 5.x clients cannot connect to an SOS 4.x server. The SOS 4.2 clients can connect to an SOS 5.x server.
