Hi all,
I am having an issue here. I inherited an ASP.NET project from a third party company and when I try to open it gives me the following error message - The project 'xyz' is under source control. An error occurred registering this project with source control. It is recommended that you do not make any changes to this project". Click OK to this message for each project and sometimes it also gives the following error message - Unexpected error encountered. It is recommended that you restart the application as soon as possible. Error: The parameter is incorrect. File: vsee\lib\xfcstr\winstrw.cpp
Then, VS ended up not loading any of the projects.
Now, I know this guy was using Vault before and I am just wondering is there any way I can open this project?
Thanks
Vault binding - How to remove?

Re: Vault binding - How to remove?
There is a way to get this unbound completely so you can open it. If you don't have Vault, then it may take a few additional steps.
When you try to open the solution, does it open a window that gives you options such as Permanently Remove Bindings, Work Offline, or Temporarily Work Unbound? If so, choose the option to Permanently Remove Bindings.
Are there files anywhere in your solution or project folders that end in .scc or .vssscc? Is there a MSSCCPRJ.SCC file?
