Error Getting Latest

Hello,

In the last few weeks every time I try to get latest I get the following error:
[9/23/2010 12:23:28 PM] Local file update for $/1 - Current Development/HSIUpdate/HSIUpdate.cmp failed: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Data\Install\HSIUpdate\_sgvault\34101.553739' is denied.

I will get this for a number of files. To fix it I have to delete the _sgvault folder for that working folder and then get latest. I will then be able to get latest once this is fixed for each working folder. But then it will come back the following day. This is becoming to cumbersome to get latest.

Please let me know what needs to be done to resolve this issue.

Are you running multiple instances of the Vault GUI client or Visual Studio at the same time?

Is your anti-virus possibly scanning that file? The next time you receive that error, try turning off your anti-virus and see if you can then access it.

I think I may have resolved it. I am running Windows 7 x64 with UAC on. We just changed from Check out/Check in to the Edit/Merge/Commit still. I had to run the VaultClientGUI with Administration Rights and then got latest on the repository and it worked. I think it needed to change read only properties on files because of the old Check out/Check in style. I will let you know if this issue comes back.
