Hi.
I am getting the following error when checking my project in:
Item $/iScene/DeviceService/DeviceService.csproj caused the transaction to fail: The file has been exclusively locked.
All the source files check in OK - it's just the project that is exclusively locked.
I have set CVS (Edit/Merge/Commit) style in the Source Control options. I have made sure exclusive locks is turned off (see attached screenshot).
1) How do I fix this? I can't see any option to relinquish the lock. I am the only person developing this project, and from only one machine.
2) How do I stop it happening in the future?
While I am here, I also noticed that my icons recently changed from normal ticks to ticks in circles (see screenshot). Why is this and what does it mean?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: The file has been exclusively locked
The green circles with checks shows that you are working in CVS mode.
The exclusive lock means someone else exclusively locked the project. You should be able to see who exclusively locked it in your Vault GUI client. If you don't see it there, then look in the Vault admin web page under the Undo CheckOut link under the repository. A Vault admin can force and undo checkout of a file from the admin web page.
