Forget credentials

I accidently selected to remember the credentials when I opened a solution using visual studio 2008. How do I clear them?

Do you mean that you selected to automatically connect with those credentials, or did you create a profile, or is it just showing the last person who logged in?

In the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SourceGear\Vault\Client\Settings there is an entry for last user name, and you can remove the data from it, but that will collect the name again the next time you log in.

I selected to automatically connect with those credentials on the Visual Studio 2008 prompt. I tried removing the value of the Reg Key you provided, but that didn't work

You could try renaming your client-side cache to see if that helps. Instructions for that are posted here: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic ... 13&t=11513.

Are you using the Vault Enhanced Client or the Vault Classic Client?
