Dear Fortress team,
I have to delevoper ASP.NET application with C# 2008. And I will work on different computers, so I want to use fortress souce control.
I have this question – about web.config file. IN different computer this file should be different as I use different SQL connection saved in WEB.Config file.
So – how to turn off surce control for this file only ?
Thanks.

If you are using the Fortress Classic Client, then there is an Exclude from Source Control function. If you are using the Fortress Enhanced Client, then don't add the web.config to source control. If it's already in, then just remove it from Fortress with the Fortress GUI client, but make sure to not check the box to delete it from disk too.

Re: How to turn off source control for WEB.Config file in my ASP
would it be possible to please get this "exclude from source control" added to the enhanced client as well? doesn't seem to make sense that an enhanced client would have less features than the classic, and going into the client (instead of visual studio which is the whole point of the enhanced client) is cumbersome, and deleting to "remove" is especially unintuitive...
many thanks!
