G'day,
I'm trying to find out the official status of Vault 5.0.x and VS 2010. I'm likely to upgrade to VS 2010 soon after the April 12 2010 release, I can't find any wording on your web sites or within forums that "official" supports Vaults integration into the VS 2010 IDE. I know that other component vendors have had issues with Add-ins and menus and I'm wondering if your waiting till RTM and finalising your testing with that product.
Would you give us some guidance?

We are officially supporting Vault with Visual Studio 2010. We did testing with a prerelease version, and found no significant issues. If there are any issues with the RTM, then they would be quickly fixed in a maintenance release.

Thanks Linda,
Will fire up my VM and apply Vault 5 to my VS2010 RTM testing environment, that should make migration a little easier.

Is there VS 2010 support in version 4.1 for the advanced client? I tried a repair and that didn't seem to work.
Re: VS 2010 Integration & Support from SourceGear
I think I may have found a problem:
I have several projects created in VS2008 using the Vault Enhanced Client. I've installed VS2010, repaired Vault, and set the default provider in VS2010 to the enhanced client. I can connect to my repository with no problems.
When I open one of my VS2008 projects in VS2010, the conversion wizard fails with "Access to the path ...MyProject.csproj is denied". If I use the Vault Client to manually check-out the sln and csproj files before opening the solution, the conversion succeeds.
The conversion wizard explicitly states that the project files will be checked out before converting, so I don't know if this is a bug in Visual Studio or a bug in the Vault Enhanced Client. Either way, it's slightly annoying!
