'Could not find file' whilst checking in

I get the following error when checking in (been checking in and out of this project fine for days) Using VS 2008 with enhanced client

Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\******r\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\WebSites\AI_Management\Bin\Mail.xml~RF2990ee10.TMP'.

No reason this file should be there, but it would seem vault cant cope with a missing file? whats going on?

Is there a Mail.xml in your project?

What version of Vault are you using? Are you using the Enhanced or Classic Client for integration?

Is this the first time you've gotten this error?

Hi, yes, Mail.xml is in my project, and yes the first time, though we have only started using vault last week. I am using the enhanced version.
