Launch GUI client with specific profile?

I work with two or three different profiles on a daily basis. Is there a way to launch VaultGUIClient.exe with a specific profile -- i.e. via a command-line argument or parameter? I searched this forum and the KB and only found one related post from 2003 where SourceGear indicated that it was not possible. Has anything changed in the intervening 7 years?

No, the only way to connect with a profile is by choosing a profile created in the Vault GUI Client.

I can log a feature request for this, though I'd need more information on why you wish to launch the GUI Client from the command line.

I'm not so much interested in launching it from a command line, but I do want to be able to pass arguments to it when launching (even from a Windows shortcut). So if the GUI executable could take a parameter at launch that said WHICH profile to connect to, I could easily have TWO shortcuts, each launching it with a different profile to automatically connect to.
