Exclude Selection from Source Control

It seems that neither the "Enhanced Client" nor the "Classic client" actually enable the "Exclude Selection from Source Control" menu-item in Visual Studio.

Does anyone know why this is, or if / when it will be available?

The Classic Client does have the Exclude from Source Control. Select the file and then go to File - Source Source Control - Exclude filename from source control.

I have a feature request logged for the Enhanced Client that I can add your "vote" to.

I stand corrected. Yes, it does indeed work in the "Classic Client".

It is worth noting, however, it was necessary to unbind and rebind the solution and all projects within it, before I was able to make it work.

Just an additional FYI...one thing to be cautious about with rebinding is all developers who are working on that project need to be using the same client. Also, switching the client does take a rebinding to make it work fully.
