Problems while adding files to vault

While adding files/folders to vault, I am getting this error.

The vault server could not be contacted to perform the operation. Your network connection may have been interrupted. Please verify your netwowrk settings using the options dialog under the Tools menu in the vault CGI.

This problem only comes when the combined file size is big(say 35 MB). When I tried uploading small folders with size say 2-3 MB, I don't get any error.

I have taken all the steps mentioned by jclausius on the knowledge base(vault). I have also increased the size of "IIS file upload limit" to 1Gb, but I still get errors.

All the files get added (as per message window), when I add them, but the final message comes as:

Any ideas about this? It's a big headache for us.

Does your vault log or Windows Event viewer have anything to say? It's possible that IIS is killing the Vault process during large uploads. One thing that would be helpfule is to try to narrow down the exact point that tips the scales. Remember that the Vault client compresses all information that is uploaded to the server, so a 5M text file could compress to a very small size for the upload.

The event log doesn't suggest anything about the vault errors.

What OS is your Vault server running on?

The vault server is on windows 2003 standard server, version 5.2.3790.

Please find attached the complete system configuration file for my vault
server. I have modified the extension to .txt. Please change it back to .nfo and open it.

Have you tried adding the 35MB file from the server machine, connecting to localhost? It will be helpful to know if that works or not.

Achin tells me this is how he was already adding the files - doesn't help.
