file exclusions

I setup under Admin - File types - file exclusions certain files that are still being displaying when going to add files. When I click on the Exclude button, the file extensions are shown in the Files to Exclude box, so I am not sure why they are being shown in the Files to add box. Do you know what could be happening here?
