I'm running Eclipse Ganymede with the plug in for Vault. Vault client version is 4.1.4. The Eclipse plugin for vault is 4.14.18429
I can check out, check in, undo, etc. just fine under the Team option in Eclipse. But Eclipse does not show any symbol next to the source as being checked out. This is very irritating. At a glance you can't tell what's checked out in Eclipse. I have to go look in the Vault client to see what is checked out.
I'm pretty sure the lock symbol or something similar used to show in Eclipse. But I can't remember if that was Eclipse with VSS or with Vault or a previous version of Eclipse.
Is this an Eclipse problem? Vault plugin problem? This may not be appropriate for this support board but I wasn't sure where to start!
Thanks

Re: Eclipse Does Not Show Check Out Symbol
Do you see any gold cylinders or green check marks?
Which view are you currently using? Package Explorer or Navigator? If you go to Window->Show View what view options do you have? If you are in Navigator view, can you try Package Explorer view?

Re: Eclipse Does Not Show Check Out Symbol
No gold cylinders, no green check marks.
I'm using the Package Explorer view with the Java EE perspective.
When I do Windows-->Show View I see the following options: Bookmarks, Console, Data Source Explorer, Navigator, Outline, Problems, Project Explorer, Properties, Search, Servers, Snippets, Tasks and Other....
Thanks

Re: Eclipse Does Not Show Check Out Symbol
Does it look any different if you use the Navigator view?
Also, could you either post or send the Eclipse error log? If you post it here, you can delete it when we are done. If you prefer to send it, then send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread and the error log.
