National Instruments Labview 8.5 compatibility

Post by stephenw » Fri Jun 12, 2009 10:22 am

Hi,

I am attempting to use Labview with SGV and I'm running into some issues. I was wondering if the SCC built into Labview has been tested with SGV. Does anyone know?

I can sometimes add files to SGV from within LV, but most of the time it returns: SCCAdd Method: Data at the root level is invalid. Line1, position1.

For files that are already added, the options to check in and out are disabled within LV.

Any help would be appricated.

Thanks.

We haven't tested integration wtih Labview and it's not a supported IDE.

We'd suggest using the Vault Client for source control operations and use Labview for development. The Vault Client working folder would be the directory where you are modifying your Labview files.

Thanks. That process is what we have been using. We are starting a new project and wanted to see if this was available.
