v4.1.4: Visual Studio and SourceGear assistance

Today i really need to start to use Visual Studio with SourceGear. I know how to set it up, but I don't know how to start a project. There are current repositories that I can access to. Locally on my machine i don't have any of those files in the repositories. I want to pick on of the repositories to work with from Visual Studio. I need the steps to work with the existing codes together with Visual Studio and SourceGear appropriately.

Did someone else add those projects to Vault using Visual Studio, or is everyone using the Vault GUI client separately from Visual Studio?
