v4.1.4: "get lastest" hung

Post by kha » Tue May 05, 2009 8:56 am

When I clicked "get latest" a folder tree in current repository, it looks like the process is hung. It sit at 0%, in the message tab of the Client GUI, there is

[2009-05-05 10:48:17 AM] Getting latest version of $/Branches
[2009-05-05 10:53:29 AM] An error occurred reading from the download stream ("The operation has timed out."), retrying...

and this is at the same time in sgvault.log on Vault Server:

----5/5/2009 10:53:49 AM admin--workstation.domain.com(208.201.131.105)--SSL Disabled System.Web.HttpException: The remote host closed the connection. The error code is 0x80072746.

[2009-05-05 10:48:26 AM] Fetched $/Branches/DOIM/ISYS/advanced.aspx
and fetched a lot more different files ...... at same time as above "fetched" line

The sgvault.log has a lot more logs from 10:48 time stamp, please let me know if you want me to send it to you via email or something.

It looks like the operation is timing out and the client is closing the connection. It could be a network issue.

How big is this "get"?

Can you do the Get from a client on the Server machine, using "localhost" to connect to the Vault Server?
