Files modification time

Post by kussay » Wed Apr 08, 2009 1:57 am

Hi everybody,

I'm using Vault server with the Eclipse plug-in as a client. For some reason after checking files in, file modification time is set to 1970, 1, 1.

This only happens when using Eclipse plug-in, but when using the Vault client there is no problem at all and modification time is set correctly.

How can I fix this issue? :(

Many thanks in advance...

shannon

What version are you using?

This bug was fixed in 4.1.3....upgrading to 4.1.3 or 4.1.4 will fix it.

Hi again,

Thank you Shannon :D , I was using version 4.1.2, updating it to 4.1.4 solved the problem.
But now I have another problem: :(
Check in command on folders doesn't work, why?
Another question :?: : is there a version of Vault client for Linux or Mac users and where to find it?

Thanks again...

Regards,

shannon

There isn't a gui client for linux or mac. Just the eclipse plug-in and the Java CLC.

Can you give me more detail about the check in command not working? Did you see an error message of any kind? (step by step what you did and saw would be helpful)

Thank you shannon for your quick respond....

Here is the problem description: on any folder in the PHP explorer tree, right click -> team -> check in, nothing happens, as if you didn't do anything.

I tried this several times on folders that contain checked out files and ones with no checked out files with the same result, even I tried on the project itself (project node in the tree) with the same result. The only way I was able to check in modifications in a folder was to mark these changes in the pending change set view and commenting them. I'm using latest versions of software (Zend Studio for Eclipse ver 6.1.0, Vault server version 4.1.4.18402 and the Vault client for Eclipse version 4.1.4.18402 downloaded from the sourcegear site). Vault client is working well and do check in on folders.

Thanks for the details and version numbers. We haven't had any reports of this. I'll check it out and respond back here when I know more.

Sorry for the delay. I've confirmed the issue and logged a bug. I don't have a time estimate for a fix yet, but I'll update here in the next few days.

I have a fix. If you'd like a pre-release build containing the fix, you can email me at shannon at sourcegear dot com and I'll provide a link (please include a link to this post in your email).
