We are using VAULT version 4.1.2.18185, and use exclusive checkout on all files under source control.
Our problem is as follows:
Collegue1 checked out some c# projects and went on vaccation. Collegue2 logged in to vault server as Administrator and found the project that was checked out by collegue1 and wanted to do an "undo checkout" on project checked out by collegue1, but the file remains checked out to collegue1.

Soren,

- Was an undo checkout actually attempted by the person who logged in as Administrator?
- If so, was there an error message, or does the server log contain an error?
Thanks,

Re: Problem with Vault "undo checkout"
Hi Dan,
Sorry for the poor description. Yes, an undo checkout was actually attempted by the person who logged in as Administrator! There was no errormessage posted to the user, and also no error in the server log (Loglevel on server was set to "quiet" not "debug").

Soren,
Understood. Thank you for the clarification. I was hoping maybe there would be something in the log that would allow me to provide a quick answer.
Could you please email me at support@sourcegear.com, and include the URL for this forum post?
Thanks,
