Dear All
I have a small but irritating problem that I hope you can help me to solve. Some time ago, I deleted a test project that had a number of files in it. I think I must have done so in Windows Explorer rather than in Visual Studio or Vault, with the result that vault has missed them ever since! Whenever I right click the solution and choose “Check in” or whenever I close down the project, the Vault Check in window shows a list of all these old files with type “Add file”, and I cannot find how to inform vault that they no longer exist. I have looked at all the screens in vault admin (including “obliterate”) and in vault client, and I have searched your forums and knowledge base, but with no luck. Can you tell me how to get rid of these old records?
Best regards, Neil Ryder

Re: Missing "Add files"
I could use more information. What version of Vault are you using, what version of Visual Studio, and are you using Classic or Enhanced integration?

Re: Missing "Add files"
Sorry. I'm using Vault version 4.1.2 and VS 2008 version 9.0.30729.1 with enhanced integration
Re: Missing "Add files"
The pending changes pane (in Visual Studio or in the stand-alone client) will have pending adds listed for those files. Delete them from that list.
