Recursive checkout grayed out

Post by drussell » Wed Aug 20, 2008 2:18 pm

Does anyone know why the recursive checkout option would be grayed out from within the VS client? It works fine if I use the Vault client itself, but neither the recursive nor the "Request exclusive lock" are available. I am using VS 2008 and Vault client 4.1.2.18185. I even created a new solution/project just to test and got the same results. FYI, checkins run recursively just fine.

I attached an image of the dialog window.
Thanks,

Derek

This is a known issue, for which a bug is logged. You can recursively checkout from the standalone client, as a workaround.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ahh, I searched but didn't find that post.

Thanks for the response,

No worries. It certainly wasn't my intent to humiliate you by linking the old post! I only found it because the bug database had a link to it. :)
