How to completely uninstall Vault client.

Post by slmcmahon » Wed Aug 06, 2008 7:13 pm

We are having some database server problems that are not Vault related as far as I know, but my client -- both desktop and VS2005 integrated only gives me "object reference not set to an instance of an object" when I try to login. I can log in to the web client and others on my team can login to Vault using their clients. I tried uninstalling / reinstalling but it didn't change anything. Can someone tell me how to completely remove any trace of Vault client off of my system so that I can install it fresh? When I reinstalled, it still had my saved profile information.

You might be able to resolve this by clearing the client-side cache:
Close any open clients first.
