Server memory requirements- how critical

Hi,

I am trying to evaluate SourceGear Vault for my company.

I have installed the server on a XP SP3 laptop that does not meet the minimum memory requirements. Is this going to have any serious effect over and above affecting system performance?

If you're just a single user evaluating, you will be able to see the features, try it out, etc. However, you won't be able to evaluate the performance. If you're ready to buy, I would be sure to try it on a production-quality system and try it with your entire team.

Thanks Linda, at the moment I'm just checking out capability and whether it fits with the way we work. I'll be sure to try an install & test on a more appropriate system later.
