I asked a question about the cached files after deleting but yet got an answer. In the meantime, I have looked into the Vault API and found the following function in the VaultClientOperationsLib namespace.
public void CleanupCachePostFileDelete(long fileID);
My question is will the function remove the cached files after a delete a folder or files? If so, wher can I get the fileID?
