We updated several Visual Studio 2008 projects to the enhanced client. But at least when we delete the .suo file (what is neccessary from time to time) the binding to the enhanced client gets lost. After opening the a solution file Visual Studio shows a couple of errors. In the options the classic client is reset.
What can we do to bind a project permanently to the enhanced client?
Or: How can we disable the classic client for Visual Studio?
Problems with classic and enhanced client

The enhanced client's bindings have nothing to do with the suo file, so I'm not sure what might be happening.
Make sure you're completely unbound from the classic client before rebinding to the enhanced client. There are detailed instructions here.
