Can I safely downgrade client?

Can I safely downgrade client?

As mentioned in my post about cruise control not working, I think I need to temporarily downgrade my client.

Seeing as our Vault Server (4.1.2) is on the same machine, will installing the older client (4.1.0) overwrite shared dlls and ruin the Vault Server?

Just uninstall the client portion only and then install the other client.
